- Most of the world's fastest runners come from Kenya, Africa. Especially from a particular tribe, "Kalenjins". Also Kenyans excel so well at long distant races....  

- The hand print of Nelson Mandela is said to resemble the African continent. Quite weird but true

- Almost one-third of the world's languages are spoken in Africa. Really obvious how rich in culture, Africa is.

- Giraffes have gone extinct in seven countries in Africa.
