You Never Knew That.... (Tombo Beer)

Before we go on our regular weekend exclusive of 'You Never Knew', have you heard of Tombo beer? 

Tombo beer is a beer brewed in Namibia. Namibia is a country that loves beer and even have some meals that are prepared with beer like the beer bread. This locally made tombo beer is on a whole new level.  A journalist once called tombo, 'the cursed acholic drink'. 
Simply a beer made locally by women of Namibia. But is simply that simple? 
It is known to have up to 80% alcoholic content more than the regular local spirits in other African areas. A mere mixture of yeast, water, sugar and what have you.... Creates an addiction. Like the locals say it is so easy to get addicted to. 

If you need something strong instead of looking somewhere else why not stop by Namibia, Africa and give it a try.

• The African Giraffe has homosexual tendencies. According to research, one in every 20 males try to mate or mount on other males. 

• The Fish River Canyon is the biggest canyon in Africa and the second largest tourist attraction in Namibia.

• From late 70's to 2011 [the death of Gaddafi] Libya was the only country with one coloured flag. The Libyan flag was just coloured green

• Eastern part of Nigeria, Enugu state had a lot of circular shaped pyramids known as the Nsude pyramids but vanished from existence. Archaeologists are working on a possibility of finding out the remains.
