THE OHUM WATERFALL -2

We kept wading through the water with it's current pushing us back, what can we do if not to continue;the sound of the waterfall we can now hear motivated us, we knew the end was almost near. Well i forgot to mention that on getting to the part where the statue of the

virgin Mary was carved, there is great wall on both sides creating a confined space leading to the waterfall, the space is large enough to accommodate people also providing protection both for the people there and the waterfall.

This is the beautiful art of nature, not man-made.

We kept moving for like ten minutes before arriving at the waterfall, wow here comes the source of all the streams we have been journeying through. We all stood admiring this waterfall as it kissed the floor which has formed a pool as a result of ceaseless fall with great force, creating steam. 

One of our crew member couldn't wait any longer as he stripped

and dived in for a swim, well i didn't come prepared for swimming though the temptation to do so was there, who could blame me after the long trek, a little refreshment won't hurt. Our photographer wasted no time in getting beautiful pictures and videos though with difficulty as he could barely see, then i wondered how people have been getting pictures of these place with their phones, then it dawned on me that they must have gone there during dry season when the fall's current was at it's minimal.

Well, we were still able to get clear view of the water, of what use was it, visiting a place like this without capturing the moment, i asked myself.

Being a lover of nature i must say, i didn't want to leave, i always get trapped each time we visited places like this, but then our mission to the popular Ohum waterfall has come to an end, we dragged our member who was reluctant to go out of the pool as we set out to return.

We made it back to the first gate all exhausted from the long walk, but then we weren't through with Ohum. In the spirit of adventure we set out once again to visit Mount Calvary.
