In Eastern Africa, something like that is called the boda boda. It is a powerful and very fast motorcycle, used for both domestic and commercial use. Domestic in the sense that, in a country like Kenya this boda boda carries up to six members of a family. It can also be used to run errands like carry logs of wood for traditional cooking, carrying heavy pieces of metals and so on. Commercially, it is used to commute people especially in cases of emergency because the velocity at which it moves is just from another world and it is slender enough to snake through traffic jam.You definitely need to try this! Most of these motorcycles are customized playing African reggae music aloud. You would see some children dancing to the tone of the music. You can't help but smile and nod too.
The boda boda has its advantages as we have said but research conducted by some medical practitioners in East Africa, Uganda have proven that it is one of the major causes of road accident due to the reckless driving of some of the drivers.
Telling you about Africa, every detail! That's what we do. Like a tourist once said, "life is a beautiful book, every where you go is a fresh page and a new experience. If you don't travel, you would just be stuck reading a chapter of this great book".
